THE K-LUX IS ENGINEERED TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS with YOUR STONE SHOP IN MIND

The bridge is constructed of robust, post tensioned steel. All structural components are hot galvanized to prevent corrosion. The K-LUX employs powerful motors to control the X and Y axis movements on a precision ground lineal gearing system. This system reduces backlash for precise, repeatable operations and long machine life.

SIX ABRASIVE CO.ME.S HEADS ARE state of the art and BUILT TO LAST

The internal design of the head has fewer parts than traditional designs. Instead of cams, the swinging arms employ a series of differential-sloping cogged gears to avoid any clearance issues preventing the arms from swinging evenly and consistently. This patented design ensures even abrasive wear. The Sasso K-LUX saves you time and money while delivering excellent results.

MONO-BLOCK CONSTRUCTION

The K-LUX is built on a solid mono-block frame. This design has 3 distinct advantages over traditional slab polishing machine designs:

HYDRAULIC TILT TABLE

The K-LUX is equipped with a hydraulically powered tilt table, which is part of the rigid mono block frame, to facilitate the easy loading of slabs.

ENERGY SAVING 20HP MULTI MOTOR DESIGN

The K-LUX was designed for efficiency from the ground up. The unique polishing drive system utilizes two ten horsepower motors. As one motor delivers power to the polishing head, the secondary motor provides additional power as needed for calibrating or heavy stock removal.

FICKERT TOOL HOLDERS FOR GRANITE AND QUARTZ and other hard stone slabs

Fickert style abrasives are designed to rapidly polish, hone or leather granite and quartz. This type of abrasive leverages the tangental motion of the swing arm by applying maximum pressure per square inch. This combination of tangental abrasives and swinging action allows for the fastest finishing of slabs and remnants while maintaining superior results.

FRANKFURT STYLE ATTACHMENT FOR MARBLES AND ONYX and soft stones

The CO.ME.S head comes with a special plate that rides below the tangental swing arms to allow for gentler non-tangental polishing, honing and leathering of marble, onyx and other delicate materials.
